On June 4 I spoke with Dr. Melina Abdullah, a national spokesperson for Black Lives Matter.

I asked her some pretty tough questions. Topics include Jasmine Richards, a Black woman convicted, ironicaly, under laws intended to safeguard Blacks from lynching, the significance of names and language, the American police state, the war on drugs, war on terror, systematic planting of drugs on Blacks by police in Alabama, Homan Square, Black on Black crime, systematic human rights abuses, Bill Cosby, Blacks and individual responsibility, the impotence of Black politicians like Obama, BLM funding and George Soros.
Jasmine Richards was well known to the Pasadena, CA Police Department. She had protested the senseless murder of Kendric McDade, 18, who was shot in the back after running away from a police car. He was unarmed and had no criminal history.
Jasmine was convicted of felony interference with the arrest of another person protesting the murder. Incredibly, the prosecutor used anti-lynching legislation to convict Richards. As a result, she will go to jail while the police officers who shot McDade seven times will not be charged. They are back out on the streets of Pasadena.
