The discovery of 20 new poems by Chilean poet Pablo Neruda were found in a box belonging to the author's archives.
Although all his archives had been already searched and it was assumed all of his poems where already published, a thorough revision by the Pablo Neruda Foundation Library found the manuscripts.
The unedited poems were all written before Neruda's “Canto General”, published in 1950, which is consider the author's most mature work.
Spanish editorial Seix Barral has announced it will publish the new found poems.
The book is expected to be released in Latin America at the end of 2014, marking the 110th anniversary of Neruda's birth.
