A Muslim advocacy group in the U.K. crowned the U.S. presidential candidate as this year’s worst Islamophobe over his hate speech.

U.S Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is the year’s worst Islamophobe in the world, according to the U.K.-based Islamic Human Rights Center.

His victory was announced during the ‘Islamophobia Awards’ in London, a satirical event held by the advocacy group. Trump secured the win over his leading "arrogant, unapologetic bigotry and hate speech".

“It is bad enough that anyone can come out with such arrogant, unapologetic bigotry and hate speech but I think what is really frightening is that Donald Trump is supported by such a large number of voters in what is the most powerful nation in the world” IHRC’s Chairman Massoud Shadjareh told the Time Magazine in an email Saturday.

Trump came on top ahead of far-right Dutch politician Geert Wilders and Charlie Hebdo magazine who competed against him in the group’s 2016 ‘International’ category.

Trump has repeatedly said that if elected president he would ban Muslims from entering the the United States.

Meanwhile, British Prime Minister David Cameron won in the U.K. category for his “comments about Muslim women needing to learn English and being ‘traditionally submissive’” the organisers wrote.

Trump loves to win, but this might not be a victory he will be bragging about, or will he?
