News of a further death at the hands of a U.S. police officer has come to light. Dajuan Graham died in a local hospital, two days after being tasered by a Montgomery County police officer.
Police say they had received reports that the 40 year old was “acting erratically” in a shopping center. The police tasered him to the ground, striking his stomach and right upper thigh.
“Graham went to the ground, and the officers placed him in custody,” officials said.
An ambulance took Graham to a local hospital where he died on Tuesday.
The two officers involved in the incident, Nathan Kane and Marco Aguiniga, remain on duty.
The Montgomery County Major Crimes Unit is allegedly investigating the cause of death, a police news release stated.
